Generous donations from a plethora of organizations, groups, families and individuals flow into the local food banks during the holiday season.
At Community Action Services and Food Bank in Provo, directors are hoping those in need will come to them for help.
Dave Smith, director of the food bank said with the overall big picture, they are in good condition with general products for its grocery delivery program.
Large donations and food drives start trickling in around Halloween and run strong well past the new year into spring, according to Smith. That tends to keep the shelves full of good food, paper products and other general supplies.
