Lehi is the hub for some of Utah County’s largest businesses, but a few of the area’s smaller ones earned well-deserved awards Tuesday.
The Lehi Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual Chamber Awards and Installation Luncheon Tuesday in the Garden Room at Thanksgiving Point. All of the awards for 2017 went to small or medium-sized businesses essential to the area’s growth and day-to-day management.
Marlin Eldred, economic development director of Lehi, explained that the choice for the Lehi Mayor’s Award went to Kohler’s Food Store on Main Street in Lehi. Eldred attended Tuesday’s event on behalf of the mayor, and explained that Mayor Mark Johnson chose Kohler’s because they are one of those businesses “that make Lehi, Lehi.”
